Clay Bole

from Be Happy by Go Like The Wind

about

This piece of music is the result of a 6 week music unit study in the music of world religions. Students listened and reflected upon music from many different religions and then created a piece of music that reflects the music they were most influenced by. Lucas's song was strongly influenced by Kirtan music of the Hindu religion.
The word 'Bole' is in reference to the words that are spoken when playing tabla. The tabla 'boles' are the sounds that the drum makes, spoken in words.
